***ESPANOL***

I just thought I post a blog to celebrate my last night of studying spanish for the summer--well for the next 20 days--but hey! I will take what I can get! For anyone that has learned a foreign language I give you my full admiration! I have seriously been working my toosh off all summer and can barely remember how to count to 20 in spanish! (You think I am joking...but those that went to Vienna with me might understand how helpless I truly am when it comes to learning a language!) I am so excited to have one free night to do something outside! Such as weeding! <--Yes...even weeding our yard sounds like a grand ol' time in comparison to doing homework all summer! Anywho kids, I just had to post and tell everyone how excited I am to be done with my 2 finals tomorrow! WOOT!!! And I have serious respect for all you bilingual peeps! Much love!

AT&T

As many of you already know, I am now working for a devision of AT&T. Let me go ahead and give you an overveiw of exactly what it is that I am doing.....

First off, my official title is Project Implementation Manager. I know, sounds pretty high up doesn't it....... Unfortunately this is still a grunt position. The service that I am working with for AT&T is EVPN (Enhanced Virtual Private Network). I am one of the guys that manages the customer orders for the service requests; wether they are new installs, deletes, or MAC (moves, adds, and changes). I get to be the one to listen to all of the customer gruff and make sure that everyone else is doing their job to get things done.... I suppose you could say my postion entales that of an account manager. I know that it doesn't sound like much from my description; however, there are alot of tools involved in managing the service orders all of which I must learn to perfection.

This type of postion seems to be fitting for now but I am hoping to get into a team leader position. Anywho, I'll keep you all updated on my feelings as the projects continues and grows.

Better Off Dead!

Sometimes you fall into a position where you think things just can't get worse! And just might say to yourself you'd be "Better off dead!" Don't worry this isn't a suicidal blog but rather a relapse into the 80's film genre! Adam and I had just one such weekend...Just when we thought things couldn't get worse with our cars, the Blazers transmission is going out! LOL! It seriously never ends! We sometimes joke around and say that someone has a voodoo hotwheels car symbolizing our blazer and likes to poke around at it all the time! And after the homework and papers had taken up all of the beautiful Saturday sunshine...finally today Adam and I decided that it was time to watch a little something funny! Adam had never seen Better of Dead, which was a travesty because it is a classic! It is now one of his favorite movies, not because of the comedy--but rather the 1969 SS Camaro! Thats right! After the movie he spent 20 minutes showing me how we could afford to get one for him to work on as a hobby! Its a pretty sexy car--who knows...I might just be convinced! If you've never seen Better off Dead I highly suggest you watch it! I think then you'll know exactly what I mean--and can look at Adam's self claimed 'favorite car of all time'! Love you all!
